Council Highlights – September 19, 2016
1. Call committee interview of a candidate has brought forth some issues for which Immanuel has no set policy, such as policy concerning Sabbatical Leave.
2. Signage in front of the church is being investigated to install a digital sign which can be programmed from a computer inside, rather than replacing each letter manually on the sign board behind the glass.
3. Planting has been completed on north side of the church by Poci’s Market with perennials.
4. Name tags for each member will be created to assist a new pastor with name recognition. Members who are non-attending have been contacted about their wish to remain on the membership roster.
5. Smoke detectors will be installed within the church for safety reasons.
