Alleluia, Christ is Risen! Christ is risen indeed, Alleluia! What JOY Jesus’ resurrection brings! What a delight that Jesus conquers death and the grave! What a wonder that we are swept up in God’s love through Christ to live eternally! When I ponder this, I imagine Jesus laughing and rejoicing over our enjoyment of God’s love, saving grace and resurrection unto life. I imagine Jesus fully alive with a deep belly laugh, authentic tears and genuine compassion.Jesus was fully God and fully human, subject to the full range of emotions as we are. In joy and sorrow, Jesus is there. In all of life, Jesus is there. Alleluia, Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen indeed, Alleluia!
