Thank you to everyone that contributed to the December Noisy Offering. We collected $244.67 that will support the ELCA Lutheran Disaster Response-U.S. Wildfires in California. Wildfires recently raged across both Northern and Southern California, destroying thousands of homes and wiping out the town of Paradise, located north of
Sacramento. More than 80 people have died and thousands of people were displaced in the Camp Fire, the state’s deadliest and most destructive fire on record. Lutheran Disaster Response is working with Lutheran Social Services of Southern California, Lutheran Social Services of Northern California and the California synods to respond to this fire. Immediate relief has included gift cards for people affected by the fires to buy essentials like groceries. Your gifts will help us deliver a robust response to address needs in the devastated communities. Thank you for giving generously!
