Mission Action Sewing ladies will be meeting on Wednesday, September 13th and September 27th at 8:30 a.m. Please join them at 8:30 a.m. until noon or part of the morning. It is a time of fellowship in preparing quilts and lap robes for those in need and much appreciated. There are many tasks to be done that do not require actual sewing. All quilts are given locally as there is a great need in our area.
Bible study date for September has been set for September 12, 2017, 9:00 a.m. (Note this is a week earlier and at Pr. Bree’s home). Pastor Bree has invited us to her home at 1906 22nd Avenue, Sterling. We begin with a light breakfast at 9:00a.m. followed by a 3 part session of study on the Apostles’ Creed – “I Believe in God”. All women of Immanuel are members of WELCA and encouraged to attend as we explore what the Creed says about God – and what it leaves undefined – as well as how this stirs our holy imagination.
