The call committee interviewed its first candidate on Monday, September 12^th.  Dave DeVries began with a tour of the Rock Falls/Sterling community.  We enjoyed pizza and pie together followed by a three hour formal interview.    After call committee discussion, a decision was made to release the candidate.   With the retirement of synod liaison Pastor Chris Stienstra, we will continue the call process under the guidance of Pastor Marilyn Hanson and wait prayerfully and patiently for another candidate.
