Addresses of out of town college students and service personnel are needed by WELCA to send the Valentine greetings. Please turn in the names and addresses to the office or to Shirley Attig, Treasurer.
Mission Action Sewing ladies will be meeting on Wednesday, February 8th and February 22nd at 8:30 a.m. Please join m at 8:30 a.m. until noon or part of the morning. It is a time of fellowship in preparing quilts and lap robes for those in need and much appreciated.
Next combined circle meeting will be on February 21st at 9:00 a.m. with Miriam Circle, hostess. Interim Pastor Vicki Sauter will present the Bible study “Children of God through Faith” as recorded in Galatians 2:19—3:29. This study will to understand the interim role of God’s law and to rely on the Holy Spirit as the source and center of our Christian life. All women of Immanuel are members of WELCA and encouraged to attend.
Looking ahead we will mention that Ash Wednesday is on March 1st this year and soup & sandwich lunch will be served by WELCA.
