The call committee interviewed their second candidate on November 2, 2016.   After spending time with the candidate via a tour of the community, mealtime fellowship and the formal interview questions, the committee all agreed the candidate would be a good fit for Immanuel.  Unfortunately, the candidate withdrew her name, largely due to Immanuel’s adoption of the Statement of Declaration (printed in the November Messenger and recent bulletins) years ago.    As has been mentioned, a forum will be held on Sunday, December 4^th to revisit this topic which will assist the call committee in discussion with future candidates.
