Council Highlights – August 8, 2016
1. Church sign is being considered for replacement. The present sign at the corner is too small to read clearly when passing by, and the letters no longer hold securely. Glass is also cracked.
2. Name badges are being considered for ease of identification of members and guests, especially to assist a new pastor or guest pastor with names of members.
3. Office renovations are being completed – painting, removal of furniture no longer needed, and a round table for conferences in the middle office is being purchased.
4. Immanuel will be celebrating 140 years in June, 2017. A committee will be formed to plan activities throughout the year.
5. A Sabbatical Leave Policy is being developed to put into place prior to a new pastor being called.
