Isaac Attig, son of Lori & Scott Attig My name is Isaac Attig. I am a freshman student at Bureau Valley High School. I live with my parents, Scott and Lori, and my two brothers, Eli and Alex. I enjoy playing sports and spending time with my friends and family. I believe that God created the universe and that God is the one and only God. Sometimes, I wonder when dinosaurs existed, since God made the universe in seven days. I hope that I live a long and happy life. I am thankful for life, having food and water, a family, shelter, and that God loves me. I feel close to God when I am worshiping in church and in hard times. Knowing that God loves me shapes my life because it gives me the strength to do things that I feel uncomfortable doing. When I was a kid, my Sunday School teacher was my Grandma Shirley. She helped me kick off my faith journey because she taught me a lot about the Bible and how much God loves everyone. The Bible verse that I chose was Ephesians 2:10: For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. To me, this means that God gives us chances in life to do great things. All we have to do is take advantage of the opportunities God provides us with. If I could meet someone from the Bible, I choose Moses because I want to know how hard it was for him to trust God. One of my favorite Immanuel memories is when we went to Houston for the National Youth Gathering in 2018.
