JR. AND SR. HIGH FALL YOUTH RETREAT AT LOMC: Friday – Sunday, October 21-23rd at LOMC (Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center). We will meet at St. Paul at 5:30 pm on Friday, Oct. 21 and carpool to LOMC in Oregon and return to St. Paul on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 11:45 am. This event is open to all 7th – 12th grade students from Immanuel, St. Paul and St. John’s and friends. The cost of this event is $25 per participant for Immanuel, St. Paul and St. John’s members and friends. ‘Camperships’ are available based on financial need (contact Pr. Vicki). Jr. High (7-8th) confirmation students are expected to attend this year’s youth retreat or next year’s fall retreat. Parents, we need help from you as drivers and co-counselors. Please contact Gerad if you can attend (& drive) and to make sure you have the appropriate youth safety training and forms completed. At the retreat expect zip lining (longest single stretch zip line in the Midwest), canoe on the pond (weather permitting), hike, low ropes course, bond with new and old friends, worship, deepen your faith in God and enjoy God’s beautiful creation. All food, accommodations, transportation and program costs are included in the cost. Please turn in $25 (checks payable to St. John’s Lutheran Church) and permission forms by Sunday, October 9.
