Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance! (Jude 1:2)
Thank you for your on-going service and diligent participation in the community of faith at Immanuel. I am grateful for the all the people I have been blessed to worship alongside and share time with and look forward to meeting all of you! It is a privilege and honor to accompany you as you live and journey in faith!
Recently, I have heard people pondering what God’s will is for themselves and wondering what God could be calling us to as a community of faith.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 gives us glimpses of God’s will for us in Christ. Rooted in God’s abounding love through Jesus Christ we are to “Rejoice always, pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will” (1 Thess 5:16-18). As we seek to live in and live out of the grace we have received we can rejoice, pray and give thanks trusting in the goodness of God. No matter what comes, we can rest in God’s faithful presence and unending love. May God spur is to lean into God’s love as we breath deep of life, rejoice, pray, and give thanks!
Thanks be to God for you!
