Join is the afternoon faith-fueled fall festival at Bethel Reformed Church (230 E 23rd St., Sterling) on Sunday, September 30, from 2-4 p.m.!
Jennifer Morgan will be leading various craft projects throughout the afternoon! There will also be a pumpkin catapult, hay rack rides, a campfire with s’mores and hotdogs, games, the St. Paul bounce house, a cake walk, snacks, and a live band, Finding Home.
Please bring a lawn chairs and a snack/dessert to share. In addition, you are welcome to donate a cake or cup cakes for the cake walk.
Non-perishable food donations for the Buddy Bag “Sharecrow” will also be received. Throughout the year Buddy Bags go home with students on Friday and assist in fueling their hunger needs throughout the weekend. Each Buddy Bag provides two breakfasts and two lunches. Below is a list of items that are most needed: Easy open, single servings of: soup, mac and cheese- Easy Mac or similar, ravioli, spaghetti, or beef-a-roni, beanie weenee, ham, chicken or tuna salad with crackers, Vienna sausage, Hormel Completes (or similar), hot or cold cereal, fruit cups, fruit juice, applesauce, and raisins. Additional items needed: cheese crackers, peanut butter crackers, pop tarts, pudding cups, shelf stable milk, cheese crackers, pretzels, animal crackers, and goldfish crackers.
