Ben Roth, son of April & Keegan Roth. My name is Ben Roth and I attend 9th grade at Bureau Valley High School. My share my life my Mom, Dad, three siblings and a lot of pets. I like to be helpful to other people and give back to the community. I believe in God and the father almighty, creator of heaven and earth and the rest of the Apostles’ Creed. I wonder what I will believe in the future. I hope that if I become lost in faith, will come back to the church. I am thankful for my friends, family, food, and God. I think that Jesus Christ came to Earth and saved all of us. I feel closest to God when I am at church or any Christian gathering or activity. Knowing that God shapes my life gives me a confidence that I wouldn’t have in my daily life. I live out my faith by finding chances to pray or help out at the church. My mother has influenced my faith since the beginning. One of my earliest memories is my mom telling “That God loves you no matter what.” That has always stuck with me to this day. My Bible verse comes from Joshua 1:9. “Have I not commanded? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD you God will be with you wherever you go.”. If I could meet someone from the Bible, I choose Jesus because He did so much for me and everyone I love. One of my favorite things about Immanuel is hanging out with people from Church. They have basically become my second family. Thank you to everyone in Immanuel guiding me down the path I needed to go to get here. Thank you to my family for always being there for me.
