According to the constitution of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, voting members are confirmed members who have communed AND given an offering of record during the current or preceding year (2018 & 2019). These two requirements must be completed by December 31,2019 in order to be eligible to vote at the annual meeting or any other special meeting called by the council. An offering of record means that we have a record of your offering in our system as well as a record of your having received communion. (This is one reason to sign the fellowship pad each Thursday or Sunday). The sacrament of Holy Communion is a regular part of our weekly worship. If you are unsure about whether or not your offerings have been recorded correctly, please contact the office administrator, Jill in the church office.
Everyone who participates at Immanuel is a part of our community of faith. You matter and your participation in the life of our congregation makes a difference! Active members of our congregation are able to vote at all congregational meetings. If you have been participating at Immanuel and would like to become a member who is able to vote atcongregational meetings and serve on church Council, please contact Pastor Bree at 815-625-3575. Truly—ALL ARE WELCOME!
