A Word From Our Pastor

The abounding love of God fill you always!

They [the baptized] devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42, NRSV).

Acts 2:42 illuminates how early believers in the  Gospel spent their time… learning, in fellowship, sharing meals together and in prayer. Throughout our lives and this November we have opportunities to learn!  God’s Word is available to us

daily.  I invite you to take time to dig in and explore it!  We will be studying Philippians on Sundays following worship.  There are many opportunities to fellowship, share food and pray together!  Weekly worship is a part of this, as is time shared in the gathering space before and after worship. In addition I welcome you to stop by my home during my fall open house on Sunday, November 5th between 4-6 pm. Come and share a bit of time, enjoy a snack I will have prepared for you and see my home. I live at 1906 22nd Avenue in Sterling.  ALL ARE WELCOME!

As I have mentioned before, I hope to share time with all of you over the coming weeks, months and years!  I hope to make several home visits each month, visiting with any family who welcomes me to do so.  If there is a convenient time for me to come by or meet up with you at a local eatery, please let me know.
