On October 14th confirmation students who have completed over two years of preparation will be Confirmed at our Affirmation of Baptism service! THANKS BE TO GOD for Meg Morgan, Salvidor Ramos and Sloan Schutz who will be confirmed on October 14th at 9 a.m. In Affirming their Baptism Meg, Salvidor and Sloan are saying YES to God’s love, grace and presence in their lives! They are continuing a life-long journey of faith! Please mark your calendars and make plans to join us in this special celebration. A special coffee hour in their honor will follow. You are invited to jot Meg, Salvidor and Sloan a note of celebration and faithful encouragement in honor of their Confirmation. Tri Church congregations have staggered their Confirmation or Affirmation of Baptism Services so that youth who have been preparing to be confirmed together can be present at each others’ celebrations.
Our confirmation class and confirmands will be heading to St. John’s for their Affirmation of Baptism Service on October 21st! They will meet at Immanuel at 9 a.m. and car pool to worship which begins at 9:30 a.m. In turn, the St. Paul and St. John’s youth will be joining us for our Affirmation of Baptism Service on October 14th.
