Friends in Christ. This is the first of what I hope is a monthly informational article on some aspect of Church Budget. Every year at the Annual meeting, we present the numbers out there for everyone to digest, but I am sure that not all of what is presented is clearly understood. To that end, I will share information with you over the coming months that will hopefully, clear up any questions that you may have.
If not, I am always willing to answer any question that is presented. We want to be transparent on how we spend our money doing God’s work.
Definition of Benevolence: 1. Disposition to do good; 2. An act o kindness;
3. A generous gift.

As you can see, through seven (7) months we are at 52.74% of our benevolence pledge. Outstanding and remember what is written in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
