Immanuel, St. John’s and St. Paul Lutheran Churches work together as a Tri Church! As a Tri Church we are as our mission statement says, “United in Jesus’ love, we learn, serve and grow through faith and action!”
Tri Church met on October 10th. Highlights of the meeting include a review of” God’s Work, Our Hand’s” Sunday, Reformation Events, and so much more! There will be a LSSI (Lutheran Social Services of IL) Appreciation Event hosted at St. Paul and supported by all three congregations for roughly 75 LSSI staff at noon on November 15th beginning with a catered meal from Arthur’s. We are hoping to put together a fundraiser to support the Hospice House sometime in the Spring of 2018. We have applied for use of the Rock Falls waterfront on the June 24, 2018 for the Tri Church Outdoor Worship Service. The next Tri Church meeting is Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 6:30 pm at Self Help. All who are interested in being a part of this vital collaborative ministry are welcome!
