Volunteers are needed! Good Neighbor Emergency Center (GNEC) will have a volunteer training meeting on Monday, October 29, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sterling. New volunteers are trained by working with an experienced worker who will show them the ropes. GNEC is open to help needy folks in our two towns, Tuesday and Thursday each week from 9-11:30 a.m. at the office at the west end of St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1701 16th Avenue in Sterling.
